“First Contact” is more than just my first finished 3D piece — it’s the moment everything started to click.
Before this, I spent a lot of time experimenting, learning, and feeling unsure about my work. But this piece? This was different. It was the first time I sat back, looked at what I made, and truly felt proud. I wasn’t just following tutorials or tweaking sliders randomly — I was finally creating with intention.
The name “First Contact” reflects both the concept of the artwork and that personal feeling of finally connecting with the tools and ideas in my head. It was like reaching out to something unfamiliar and realizing, “Yes, I belong here.”
It marked the beginning of my confidence as a 3D artist and storyteller — the first step in shaping the worlds and characters I used to only imagine.
