This piece started as a casual idea—just a futuristic archer on a beach—but it turned into something much more meaningful for me. I spent about an hour each day after work on this, chipping away at it over the course of a week. It took 8 hours in total to render, but it marked an important milestone in my art journey.

At the time, I was still getting used to my Wacom tablet, figuring out how to make it feel like an extension of myself. This drawing was where everything started to click. I remember the first time I watched the playback of my process—it felt surreal. Seeing the layers come together, the lighting on the waves, and the archer’s form taking shape… It was one of my proudest moments as an artist.

There’s something about the combination of futuristic elements and natural landscapes that I’ve always found fascinating. The archer stands at the edge of the ocean, with the glow of tech merging into the softness of the beach. It’s a scene that feels both calm and full of tension—like something is just about to happen.
