The Chronicles (tentative name) began when my Discord friends and I accepted an internet challenge based on a prompt related to your birth month (e.g., June = assassin, August = berserker, and so on). I challenged myself further and created these illustrations.

The Chronicles started as a fun idea with my friends. One lazy afternoon, my Discord friends and I found this cool internet challenge. The idea was simple but exciting: your birth month decided your character type. For example, if you were born in June, you were an assassin. August birthdays got to be berserkers.

We were all excited to dive into this. Everyone picked their roles, but I wanted to do more. I got inspired by the different characters and started drawing them. and all the other characters, brought to life in my drawings.

What started as a fun activity quickly grew into something bigger. My friends and I created stories, adventures, and epic battles for our characters. Each drawing added more to our shared story, turning a simple challenge into a project I call "The Chronicles."

This piece is my take on retro-futurism, blending futuristic elements with a vintage aesthetic. The Japanese text is translated using Google, so bear with me if it’s not perfect. This was a fun experiment in bringing together different eras and styles to create something unique.
