The Chronicles started as a joke between friends, a trend where your birth month determined your fantasy class. August? Barbarian. July? Assassin. We all started picking our roles and imagining what they’d look like.
I turned that energy into a school-themed illustration where each character “cosplays” their class in a regular classroom setting. But as I kept painting, the whole thing started to shift. These characters began to feel like they had real stories, friendships, rivalries, backstories I hadn’t planned.
What started as a fun group piece turned into the first chapter of something bigger. The Chronicles became the beginning of a possible manga, or maybe even a full OC universe. This is where it all started.
