Chainsaw Man is a manga and anime created by Tatsuki Fujimoto. The first season of the anime was produced by MAPPA in 2022, known for its sharp choreography, rough-edged emotional tone, and stylized violence. The series follows Denji, a young man trapped in debt who works as a devil hunter with his pet devil Pochita. After a fatal ambush, Denji merges with Pochita and gains the ability to transform into the Chainsaw Man.
The show’s mix of horror, dark humor, and raw character moments helped it break into mainstream anime culture. Its visuals have inspired a massive wave of fan artists and animators. The images on this page are a collection of my own Chainsaw Man fan artworks, created in tribute to the series and its characters.
Chainsaw Man Story
Denji grows up paying off his father’s debts to the yakuza. His only partner is Pochita, a small orange devil with a chainsaw blade. When Denji is betrayed and killed, Pochita sacrifices itself to keep him alive. In exchange, Denji agrees to live out the simple dreams they shared: good meals, a warm bed, and a chance at something better.
After surviving the attack, Denji is recruited into Public Safety, where he hunts devils alongside Aki, Power, and other hunters whose motives and loyalties are rarely simple. As threats escalate, Denji learns that becoming Chainsaw Man brings attention from devils, humans, and forces that see him as a weapon, a symbol, or something far more dangerous.
